Stevie Ray Vaughan, American musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer was born on October 3, 1954, and was one of the most influential guitarists of all time. Raised in Dallas Texas, Stevie picked up the guitar and began playing at the age of seven after being inspired by his older brother Jimmie. On August 27, 1990, Stevie Ray Vaughan died in a helicopter crash at the age of 35.
