With a long, drama-filled history, Guns N Roses has remained one of the most iconic hard rock bands of all time. Their debut album, 1987’s Appetite For Destruction, reached number one on the Billboard charts, thrusting GNR into the spotlight off of the strength of singles such as “Welcome to the Jungle” or “Sweet Child O’ Mine,” which to this day is the only single the band has released that has reached the number one spot on the charts. One believed to be “the most dangerous band in the world,” Guns N Roses have gone on to have a very public on-again-off-again relationship as a band. As of 2018, rumors have again begun to swirl as to whether or not the group is hitting the studio to record the follow-up to 2008’s Chinese Democracy.
