One of the key players in the 80s glam metal movement, Dokken was formed by vocalist Don Dokken and drummer Mick Brown, who have remained the only consistent members in Dokken’s decades-long career. Dokken had three singles chart in the US and sold over 10 million albums. Their live album was one of the first albums ever to be nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance in 1989. Shortly after this Grammy nomination, Dokken went on hiatus until 1993. Dokken is supposedly working on their 12th studio album, which they say will return to the classic Dokken sound.
